  • Big congratulations to our 12-man team who just competed at the USA League Finals in Reno, Nevada. We have four new USA Champions (Jraeden, Keawe, AJ, and Ili.) Three who made the final and came runner-up (Caleb, Edward, and Evan), Two thirds (Izea, and Corey) and Two fourth (Jonah, CJ). Jonah also placed 2nd in forms, and Ili placed 3rd. Awesome job team!!

  • This month is all about preparing our school to host the 13th annual Maui Open at Maui High School on Sunday, Dec. 8th. We run this tournament every year in memory of Shannon. All the awards will have the 2019 Shannon Memorial Tournament on the trophy case. We want every student from our school to do at least one event (forms, grappling, sparring, or stick fighting). We will be training all our students on techniques, and scoring, to be successful at the Maui Open.

  • Please bring your family and friends to support Ohana Martial Arts, there are many other schools coming from here on Maui, other islands, and the mainland. Let’s all make the 2019 tournament our best yet!! We will supply more info over the next two weeks.

  • We have two holidays; we are observing this month. The first holiday will be on Monday, November 11th for Veterans Day. We will also be closed Thursday 28th, Friday 29th, and Saturday 30th for Thanksgiving. Have a wonderful long weekend to enjoy time with friends and family!!
